Just started watching on Netflix— pretty crazy— makes me think of Twin Peaks, but different.
Update: Whoa, this show is getting even more disturbing than it started— not sure if I’ll last.
Update 2: On Episode 5 and think I just realized something to be revealed, and it is not good. Not good. Not sure why I keep watching, except that that landscape is incredible, and the buildings are great too, and there is a lot of mystery.
Update3: Scenery was so great, but the show/story was lame (in my opinion), and gross (in everyone’s opinion), and the pop star/music video and mournful pose moments were stupid— reminded me of an advertisement aimed at hipsters or cool people or whatever— ended up a big waste of time (Holly Hunter’s character would have something to say about that for sure -that I enjoyed the landscape and held out hope I’d like the show until at the end I didn’t- in fact I think she did comment on a very analogous feeling)— yea the landscape was AWESOME though. Anyway, definitely not Twin Peaks caliber at all. And I was wrong about what would be revealed— somehow my guess was better than what turned out (I think— also it somehow found away to be more disturbing than I thought it would be— sheesh).
